Hilary's first foray into Dominion with more than 2. We both agree the game works a lot better this way. John had played a few times before, and has played a lot of Magic: The Gathering. Carissa was playing for the second time.
The Spy proved quite popular this time out. John was particularly enamored of it and bought about 5 of them, and Carissa had several as well. The Spy allows you to look at the top card of everyone's deck and force people to either discard it or put it back on top of your deck. The problem with playing a bunch of them is there is some amount of diminishing returns - once you've got someone with a bad card on top of their deck, playing another Spy on the same turn won't hurt them any more, and in the mean time, the Spy does little to help you afford the big victory point cards.
Scores:
Hilary - 33
Carissa - 33
John - 23
Chris - 18
Game time: 45 minutes
