November 12th: Sorry Sliders with Hilary

Another of the games I picked up at the Black Diamond Games ding and dent sale (this one for $6), Sorry Sliders is a dexterity game that is probably best described as Curling: The Board Game. Players take turns sliding little pawns with ball bearings in them down a track into a target area and get points based on where they are at the end of the round (so you can knock your own or other player's pieces around to try to improve your score or mess them up). It has little to do with the inexplicably popular Parker Brothers pacheesi knockoff other than graphic design.

Hilary and I played a 2-player game that actually ended in a tie and came to the conclusion that this game was going to be better with 4 players.
