November 22nd: Sorry Sliders! at Pre-thanksgiving

Our friends John and Carissa have begun a tradition of having a bunch friends over the weekend before thanksgiving for a traditional thanksgiving meal. I brought a couple party games and managed to pull out Sorry, Sliders! to play with my friend Jim and his twin 5-year-old sons (who were helped a bit with scoring by Jim's wife Karen). As I suspected, this game played much better with 4 and I was pleasantly surprised that the boys grasped the scoring almost instantly and stayed engaged for the whole game (which isn't terribly long, but 5-year-old boys are not reknowned for their attention spans). Jeremy and I tied for the win. Ethan came close and had a shot at winning a turn earlier, and Jim just kept getting Sorried.
