My friend Ted came into town from Exotic Fresno™ and a few of us met at a café across the street from my work to eat breakfast, catch up, and maybe play a few games.
We got in a couple games of Coloretto at the table before I had to go to work. Coloretto is quick to learn, but to play well actually requires quite a bit of probability calculation. However, the game has enough luck where even people who make making decisions more or less at random (i.e. just not doing anything *obviously* stupid) still stand a pretty good chance of winning. What I can’t decide is if this makes me like the game more or less.
